Codenamed the 992, the new generation of Porsche 911 sees quite a few upgrades to the styling, powertrain, and interior. Porsche is integrating the wider rear previously only found on the GTS models into the entire lineup, for one, and adding a light bar to the rear fascia between the taillights.

Porsche also added larger tires to the rear end, allowing for better traction and therefore better handling, and the 2020 911's front end is more rounded than its predecessor. The turbocharged engines will also see some tweaks to improve airflow.

Sporting a twin-turbocharged boxer 6 engine situated in the rear, the 2020 Porsche 911 puts out incredible power at up to 443 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque. The 911 is currently only offered with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, but Porsche says it will eventually add a seven-speed manual.

The 911 is loaded with performance-enhancing parts and technologies too, like active air intake flaps that cool the engine in Sport mode, and the sports exhaust system with a central rear silencer. It even comes with Auto Start Stop, which turns off the engine at under 5 mph to save fuel when you're idling.
